ARCADIA BRITANNICA – A Modern British Folklore Portrait by Henry Bourne.

A series of large format portraits of British folklore revellers, photographed in-situ at British folklore events and rituals around the United Kingdom.

Prints from the Arcadia Britannica series have been exhibited at the Towner Gallery for Contemporary Art, the Central State Exhibition Hall in St Petersburg and “Making Mischief” at Compton Verney and the University of the Arts London.

The prints also form part of the Museum of British Folklore’s permanent collection.

 Arcadia Britannica was published as a book by Thames and Hudson in 2015.
